Next to Parliament and in the heart of the Upper Town, this is a real, old-school bar. In the evenings when there are no politicians around, this works out fine for all parties. There are occasional live bands. This is the place for metal with a jukebox full of selections. The music is loud, but not too loud, thanks to the wooden floor and the heavy brick walls. Red lights complete the mood. The pinball machine and table-football table suit the place, as does beer on tap: Paulaner – sold at affordable prices. Somehow you feel even better when you find out that this was once the Zabica, a posh hostelry for the politicos.
